1. This service is only open to
mobile users on GSM networks. If you are using a WLL CDMA phone, you would
not be able to receive these alerts. |
2. SMS is permitted from Sify to
GSM mobile phones with messaging facility within India and selected International
networks. If you are on roaming, you will receive these messages if the provider
at your new location has a tie up with your mobile provider for SMS messages.

3. Customer shall abide by the
laws, rules and regulations as applicable and the customer shall indemnify Sify
against all losses, claims or damages as a result of non-compliance with
the above. |
4. Sify mobile services
provided by Sify are provided on ‘as is, where is’ basis and ‘as available’
basis. |
5. Time taken to deliver the
message depends on the network quality. Sify will take all measures to ensure a
prompt delivery. The delay could be due to network congestion either at the
network Sify uses to send the message or the receiving network where the
subscriber is based. |
6. Messages to wrongly stated
numbers will also be
charged |
7. No refunds of any kind
will be made

8. SMS rates per
message for various sify services like cricket, astrology, news etc.
will be fixed and are subject to revision from time to time. Changes
in tariff will be clearly mentioned on the website.

9. Payments made in the
Iway cyber cafes will cost the same as what you would pay on the
mobile.sify.com website and you will be able to avail of the same facilities.

10. Sify reserves the right, in
its discretion, to limit or terminate access to certain services or locations.

jurisdiction of courts of Chennai only |
12. If any type of
credit card or mode of payment fraud is detected, the service will be
immediately suspended for that account

13. Security
of the account and the PIN number is the sole prerogative of the user.
Sify disclaims any responsibilty of any misuse of the account

14. Sify might send
its users some promotional messages from sponsors. User WILL NOT be charged
for these messages.

15. The customer will have to bear the cost if their mobile operator charges a
fee for receiving messages.
